Smart Border Austria: KikoSpace AG approved for third process
On 28 September 2026, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) extended KikoSpace AG's registration for Smart Border Austria to include an additional process. Following a positive review of our application, KikoSpace is now also registered for SBA – Goods Location Corridor EXIT. This gives us direct registration for three Smart Border processes: SBT – Transit ENTRY SBR – Rolling Corridor EXIT SBA – Goods Location Corridor EXIT The new SBA registration has already been technically integrated into our smartborder.at platform and is now available for operational use.
KikoSpace AG listed as software provider for Smart Border Austria at the BMF
On September 24, 2026, KikoSpace AG was added to the official list of software providers of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF). KikoSpace is listed there as a Swiss software provider with Smart Border Austria as a supported system. The solutions listed are smartborder.at and zolli.ai. This represents another important milestone for our Smart Border offering: Following the direct registration of KikoSpace with Smart Border Austria and our first productive transactions, our solution is now also featured in the official BMF overview of software providers. Via smartborder.at, we offer Smart Border processes for both directions of traffic between Switzerland and Austria – SBT (Transit Inbound) towards Austria and SBR (Rolling Corridor Outbound) towards Switzerland.

Swiss Patent Application Reaches Next Milestone
On August 2, 2026, KikoSpace AG filed the complete technical documentation and patent claims for its Swiss patent application.

On July 29, 2026, KikoSpace AG acquired the NVIDIA DGX Spark Founders Edition featuring the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. This system forms the foundation for future operation of the AI platform on proprietary hardware.

Zolli becomes independent from individual AI providers

First company to complete a successful Passar 2.0 Import pilot run in Thayngen
KikoSpace AG, with Zolli, is the first company to have successfully completed a productive import under the Passar 2.0 Import pilot phase via the Thayngen–Bietingen border crossing. The pilot run was carried out in close cooperation with the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG).
BAZG recognizes our API proposal for digital EUR.1
Following the 15th Swiss Customs Law Conference, KikoSpace submitted a concrete technical proposal to the Swiss Federal Customs Administration (BAZG) for API access to the digital certificate of origin EUR.1 («Certificat») — enabling seamless digital customs processes without media breaks.
Milestone reached: first productive Passar 2.0 import with Zolli
KikoSpace AG has successfully completed its first productive import under Passar 2.0 (Einfuhr Standard). The entire import process was handled autonomously through Zolli — from the goods declaration and the transport process to activation at the border and receipt of the assessment decision (Veranlagungsverfügung). The successful pilot run was carried out together with the BAZG and the Austrian partners of the Smart Border Corridor Au–Lustenau, confirming Zolli's practical readiness under real-world conditions.
