BAZG recognizes our API proposal for digital EUR.1

Following the 15th Swiss Customs Law Conference, KikoSpace submitted a concrete technical proposal to the Swiss Federal Customs Administration (BAZG) for API access to the digital certificate of origin EUR.1 («Certificat») — enabling seamless digital customs processes without media breaks.

In its response, BAZG acknowledges the proposed use case as reasonable: the described API-first approach aligns with general developments in digital business processes. As part of the future development of Certificat, BAZG will review the possibility of API-based integration and take industry needs into account.

We thank BAZG for the open, constructive dialogue and look forward to swift implementation — Zolli is already built consistently API-first today, enabling customs processes to run fully automated.
