PAIDS — Passar Import Declaration Submission
A PAIDS (Passar Import Declaration Submission) is the structured XML message used to lodge a Swiss import customs declaration with the BAZG Passar system. It is the starting point of the import procedure on Passar 2.0. Its acceptance is followed by the PAIAD (Passar Import Assessment Decision), the legally binding Veranlagungsverfügung Einfuhr stating duties and import VAT, available on ePortal.admin.ch.
