Passar software for customs brokers

Customs brokers use Zolli as their declaration engine to scale Passar declaration volume without hiring more declarants. Zolli generates and files export, import and transit declarations autonomously from your clients' data, with optional human approval. What it produces are the standard official Passar outputs, visible on ePortal.admin.ch.

Zolli as your declaration engine

As a customs broker (customs declarant, customs agent) you lodge customs declarations on behalf of your clients. Until now your throughput depends on the availability of your declarants — volume peaks create waiting times, and more volume usually means more staff.

Zolli is the engine that takes this on: as soon as the client data is ready, Zolli generates the appropriate Passar declaration and submits it autonomously — letting you scale volume without hiring more declarants. A human approval step can be placed before submission as an option. How this differs from the traditional way of working is shown on the Zolli vs. a customs broker page.

The official Passar outputs you know

Zolli does not produce its own substitute documents but the standard official outputs of the Passar system that you know from your daily work:

These outputs are visible on ePortal.admin.ch; the standards are set by the BAZG (bazg.admin.ch). What each declaration type means exactly is explained on the What is Passar? page.

Start in parallel with your process

You do not have to replace your existing workflow overnight. Zolli can first run in parallel with your current process, so you can compare the results before moving volume onto the engine step by step.
