PAEDS — Passar Export Declaration Submission

A PAEDS (Passar Export Declaration Submission) is the structured XML message used to lodge a Swiss export customs declaration with the BAZG Passar system. On acceptance, Passar returns an MRN (Movement Reference Number); after border activation and release, it issues a PAEAD (Passar Export Assessment Decision), which is the legally binding Veranlagungsverfügung Ausfuhr available on ePortal.admin.ch.

In context

The PAEDS is the starting point of the export procedure on Passar. Through the MRN it leads to the final export assessment decision (PAEAD).
